Through the magical platform you'll now come to the aerie of Venus Lighthouse. But you're not alone, your old enemies have arrived here before you...!
Saturos and Menardi are currently about to light the beacon of the lighthouse, Sheba's near them. The two warriors are dwelling in phantasies of power again and the fact that so few work's still left to do for them. There comes Felix...
He's returned to the top of the lighthouse because of Sheba after having told Jenna and the others to go to Idejima. He thinks that Sheba's got nothing to do with their mission and therefore should be freed. Saturos and Menardi don't really appreciate that thought, why that is Felix soon notices by himself.
To be able to enter the four lighthouses at least one adept of each element's required. Without Sheba as the Jupiter Adept the group wouldn't even have the possibility to get into the lighthouse. Thus Sheba's indespensable – and as there's agreement on that from both sides Saturos advises Felix to go back to the ship.
But wrong! Instead the real falling out over Sheba will take off now. Felix wants to take Sheba with him and argue that the lighthouse might become too dangerous for her. Which of course makes Saturos and his female companion rather suspicios as they're more able to protect Sheba than anybody else. Unimpressed by that Felix even wants to fight for the blonde girl if necessary. In a slightly mocking tone the two warriors assure him that he on his own wouldn't even be strong enough to guarantee his own life. As they're more and more doubting Felix' loyalty they'll want to show him how to obey, their own way.
In the meantime your group has eavesdropped the argument between both parties, Garet now sees the perfect opportunity to surprise the three right amidst their confrontation. So jump to the center of the lighthouse and pay the cockerels a little visit!
Surprised they will be, but by no means intimidated. Felix, who doesn't intend to loosen any of his demands, asks Isaac to stay out of this argument. But as Saturos and Menardi will notice that Isaac's group extremely worried about Sheba's safety they'll want to make advantage of the current situation.
The two Proxian warriors need the Shaman's Rod that Ivan carries with him. They order Sheba to report to them whether what's in your possession's indeed the rod, which she'll finally answer with a slightly held back yes. Saturos makes you a deal: Sheba's integrity in exchange for the Shaman's Rod... Not that you'd have any real choice here!
But they all have been fooled by Saturos' cleverness – Sheba won't be harmed, but not be freed! Like Saturos had suggested... But that's not going to be our deal, Garet thinks. The tension's in the eir, and slowly everyone should figure out that the happenings here will only lead to one thing, and that's a battle! Because the two kidnappers won't want to let you go that easily...

HP: 3000, 2600 Your two tormentors of once haven't lessened at all in their powers! They both are masters of the fire psynergy and are going to make your life a living hell with their strong spells. Concentrate on Menardi first. She's the quicker of the two and knows a deadly attack, but she's the physically weaker person, too. Simple attacks will be enough for this battle, as your weapons have guaranteedly become stronger than your psynergy in the meantime, with the possible exception of Ivan. Once Menardi has fallen the battle against the remaining Saturos shouldn't be too hard anymore. I don't recommend stat boots and such too much here. You should definetely have at least character levels of around 25 for this fight along with some strong equipment, otherwise you may still be too weak. But with these things and a good healer like Mia to it the battle should soon be decided in your favour. You'll receive 6000 experience points, 7800 coins as well as a Psy Crystal. |
Saturos and Menardi lie on the ground, but Felix isn't all too excited about this circumstance. He tells Isaac that he too intends to light the beacons and will also fight for that when necessary. Although the group's outraged about this after their victoy there won't be much time for quarreling for them.
Sadly your confrontation with Felix has also given Saturos and Menardi the opportunity to recover their strenth. Enough to out of nowhere throw the Elemental Star into the beacon's opening! Pleased about that they'll tell you that their psynergy will be restored – and you shall better say your last prayer now. They ask Felix to go to Idejima with Sheba. Afterwards they'll give you their full attention and show you what it's like to face the true power of the Fire Clan of the north – they'll then fuse into one being...

HP: 5000 This giant monstrosity, the fusioned power of Saturos and Menardi, certainly is the strongest enemy in the game, rightfully so! It's able to do just about anything, poison you, haunt you, weaken you, simply hurting a lot... And all of this twice a turn. Strong characters are much of an advantage here, but if you've managed to defeat the warriors before it should be enough for the Fusion Dragon as well. Because of the monster's strong attacks it'd be wise to let it attack as few as possible. That's why I recommend to use Ivan's Impact as much as possible to strengthen Isaac's and Garet's attacks. This won't only power up your warriors, who will actually only simply attack, it will also lure the monster into using 'Break', which means it won't attack you. Mia should always be ready at your side, for both healing in general and poison in particular. She should only attack when everyone's at perfect health. After one hell of a battle even the Fusion Dragon should eventually go down... You'll receive nothing at all, but would it really matter now? |
Completely shocked that they've been defeated in battle Saturos and Menardi will kneel before you now. Soon their power will dwindle and they'll throw themselves into the fire...
The lighting of the beacon the group couldn't prevent, but Garet still takes it positively. After all the two fiends won't be any more trouble for them from now on. Felix comes out of his hiding place and looks at you, not quite believing you were victorious. He say that he'd be no match for you in a fight then and will thus go now no matter what, along with Sheba. You'll protest, but – a miracle's happening!
The enormous powers of the unleashed energy in the ground have literally torn the Venus Lighthouse apart, shortly before the fireball reaches the top! The heroes are now separated from Felix' side. But he as other problems to deal with now! The shaking has driven Sheba to the lighthouse's edge, to which she can only hold on with much effort. Not that long anymore, she'll slip and fall... And without hesitation Felix will jump after her! ...
Shocked to have seen Felix' act the four heroes will need some time to get real again, but soon they'll be back to their senses. The beacon's reached the top in the meantime and you'll have to think about a way now how to not only save Jenna and the others, but also how to above all come down to the ground again! Fortunately the question will answer itself as soon as the lighthouse merges back to its old self again.
You and your group will be searching for the missed persons, albeit without too much success. The next scene will take place in Lalivero again, in Faran's house...
Faran, Iodem and their men have searched for Sheba, but they couldn't find her. Also your group has to report bad news unfortunately. Still Faran's sure that Sheba, the miraculous child, has survived the fall and that everyone else too should be alive on Idejima now, which has been drifted off by the pressure. But as there's not much time to lose right now your journey will soon continue! Iodem asks you to wait for him in front of Faran's house.
Outside Iodem will inform you that he still has to tell you something about Lemuria. He have seen an area in the sea surrounded by fog which probably contains the lost Lemurian civilisation. Furthermore he wants you to find Jenna and the others. Because of that he'll give you the Black Orb now, with which you'll be able to steer Babi's ship. You can find it here in Lalivero, the one at Idejima might've been Saturos' vessel! It's docked right here in the town. Well, what are you waiting for?
So head to the haven now that's located in Lalivero's northwest. Here you'll be now granted entry. When in the haven run to the end of the jetty and use the Black Orb there – the ship will rise up and the group prepare itself for the great journey on which there'll surely be lots of new things to experience for them! Without much ado the good crew will want to hoist the anchor. The ship will launch and the credits roll before your eyes, coupled with some nice background music so that you can well enjoy them...
You'll now be given the opportunity to save your game. You're going to need this end data at a later time, but don't write over your current save file now! Said and done. But what's that? A cutscene follows in which you can see Kraden and Jenna chit-chatting on Idejima about their not too bright-looking situation... Until Alex arrives and wants to show something to them. And that won't be anything else than the washed-up bodies of Felix and Sheba! What might've happened there?
Har har, to be continued! And even right at the big moment. Because what's all there still to come will be subject of the second part of Golden Sun...!
I very much hope that you liked this walkthrough of Golden Sun and there isn't anything mussing. Now you can quickly rush to the sequel already! But wait, you're not done with this game yet! You can still always keep training and equipping your characters! And have you already solved the riddles of Crossbone Isle? I hereby say goodbye and furthermore want all of my readers to:
