After Hammet's rescue you can now focus on your actual mission again, and that's to reach Venus Lighthouse! It's located in the very south of Angara, the continent on which also Tolbi's situated. On the way to it there'll be many other places to pass before, though, one of them is the Suhalla village and its nearby desert. From Tolbi on go southwards until you reach the Gondowan Passage, where Iodem's already been waiting for you. Without further ado he'll join you then.
After the passage g simply along the footpath leading eastwards, then you should come to a village after a brief walk. It's Suhalla, where also your next stopover should be now.
The Suhalla itself is only a small village close to a desert, not all too rich and probably not too breathtaking either. At first, for the sake of completeness, a few hidden items here: Jump over the river to an area behind the sanctum. From here on you can reach a pot in which you can find a Lucky Medal. Run even further east and you can spot a treasure chest holding a Hard Nut. Run back, in the southwest of Suhalla you can find a shop as well. Stock up on your provisions here if there's the need.

Afterward take a look into the southeasternmost house of Suhalla. Here two of Tolbi's soldiers are lying injured in bed, and they've important news to tell you. They were together with Sheba, the hostage from Tolbi, and tried to go through Suhalla, but they were caught by a sandstorm which blew them away. Sheba stayed there, but a few other persons were also present. They could defy the cyclones with lots of water, also slay the monsters which are causing the storms afterwards. Iodem and you know that these people must have been the group around Saturos and Menardi. With this in mind leave the house and the Suhalla.
The desert the two soldiers wanted to pass lies in the direct south of Suhalla. It can't be missed!
Right from the desert's entrance on you'll see a path to the west and to the east. Take the one leading eastwards first. After already a few metres you'll come to the first sandstorm, of which Iodem will warn you. He wants you to be especially careful! Head straight into the storm and let it whirl you up. The soldiers said that lots of water will help against the storms. You'll get this water by using the Douse psynergy here! The storm will come to a halt and a monster will attack you. It's one of the Tornado Lizard, who belong to the strongest enemies in the game, they can even attack twice per round! Thanks to your superior number you should quickly win the fight, though! (By the way, if you're in one of the sandstorms and do nothing at all it'll whirl you back to the Suhalla.)
Go along the way as soon as the lizard's defeated. You'll come to a treasure chest in which the strong Virtuous Armlet lies. With it in your inventory head back towards the entrance and from there on take the western path. The next sandstorm! Use your Douse here once again and defeat the lizard. Afterwards run further until the path splits.
Two of the three paths will lead you to a treasure chest, but a closer inspection will soon reveal that it's in fact a fallacious Mimic! From it you'll receive a Water of Life. On a side note all three paths are being guarded by Tornado Lizards, but I'm sure you've noticed that by now... Now take the easternmost of the three paths. It'll lead you into the next area.
Until now it all wasn't so bad, was it? No scorching heat, no need for oases... only storms. Yeah. In front of you there now are three different paths again. Of course all guarded! First the right one of them, then you'll eventually come to a chest with a Lucky Medal. Thereupon choose the left path, it'll lead you to a chest, from it you can take a Cookie.
Quite logically now take the remaining path in the middle. After a rather long way you should come to a spot where there are a giant whirlwind to the east and a small valley to the west of you.
Ignore the whirlwind an concentrate on the small valley. Use your Revaal here, then you'll not only be able to see suspicious footsteps in the sand, but there will also appear a stone pillar within the valley. Now jump over it to the other side and proceed. Soon you'll notice whose footsteps it were that you've seen – they're from a Mars Djinni! You'll have to defeat it in battle first before it'll join you, but once you have it "Flash" will certainly serve you well in the future. Don't pay too much attention to the cave, rather go back to the place before the giant whirlwind.
A little bit south of here you can climb down a wall. After that run south, but not for too long – as a truly magnificent whirlwind will suddenly start chasing you!* Let it suck you into it and use Douse. The beast will now show its face and it's not that hard to see that it's playing in quite a different league than the ones you already know...
* Ironically, if you run as fast as you can you can reach the end of the desert before the whirlwind. I won't be considering that option here, though.

HP: 2900 You're truly going to need all of your power in the battle against the Storm Lizard! It can attack twice per turn and moreover some darn strong psynergy, which it's not going to use sparsely! But better forget it to seal that psynergy or to even attempt to let her fall asleep – no guaranteed success at all. Instead of this you should simply concontrate on not letting the lizard give you too much trouble with your health! Use the Djinn "Breeze" or Ivan's Resist to weaken the strong attacks unleashed upon you. Isaac and Garet themselves should attack, Mia will likely be needed for healing. It's very helpful to have an Assassin Blade equipped to Isaac or Garet, with it (and much luck) you'll see the lizard on the other side of the river rather sooner than later. Once the lizard's defeated you'll receive 1300 experience points, 6100 coins as well as a Psy Crystal. |
Nothing's going to stop you anymore in this desert once the lizard's been defeated! Run further south and you'll come to a circle of stones. Use Reveal here to make a Psy Crystal appear! I'm sure your PP have really been at a low after the hard fight, so pick it up! Now run straight along the path before you and you'll have already reached the end of the desert... Iodem will be shocked to haven't found Sheba anywhere. Without hesitation he'd like to continue searching for her, but he still suggests going to the guard gate near the desert for a first. Do so and leave this desert!
So the guard gate isn't too far away then! Perhaps they've seen Cosma her or taken her in at the gate? The answer to this question you'll soon know...
