Golden Sun DS = Definite Standout!

7. 6. 2009 (9:31 a.m.), Veritate

I'm sure you've all noticed the big news by now: Camelot's really working on a new Golden Sun for Nintendo DS at the moment! Of course, being in the military, I've been behind once again... But anyway! Because of this joyous announcement I naturally had to change the "GS3" page of the site. Now take a look at the new page here about Golden Sun DS! All new information about the game will go to this place, so you might want to visit it every now and then. And now... three cheers for GSDS! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!

Pirates of the... Golden Sun?

21. 4. 2009 (10:58 a.m.), Veritate

Four days, four chapters. And I've just had a nice cup of tea with Deadbeard. Yay! Anyway, here are the remaining four chapters in the Golden Sun walkthrough: Babi Lighthouse and the Tunnel Ruins, The Venus Lighthouse, Showdown of the Adepts and Ending and finally The Crossbone Isle. I must say, I'm still incredibly proud of the maps for the Crossbone Isle floors. They were a pain to make! But like I said earlier, it's been worth the effort in every shape or form. Now let's get to the walkthrough for The Lost Age, right? Although I must announce something at this point...

On May 4th I'm going to leave my hometown to join the Navy and do my military service there, lasting nine months, which will most likely mean few computers, not much spare time and certainly no quick work on the site. Still... I don't want to sound obsessed with site (which I am), but I think I've figured out a way how to still do everything efficiently and quickly here. After all my name's Veritate and I'm awesome! 8D There's no way I'll able to complete the TLA walkthrough before that date, but I'll try my best to make the most out of my remaining time. So stay tuned for the next update!

Close to the finishing line

17. 4. 2009 (11:25 a.m.), Veritate

And here there are, some new chapters for the walkthrough. I've worked my ar** off for them in the past few days, but it pays. The sooner I'm over with it, the better, for both you and me. =P They're A Journey over the Sea, Tolbi, In the Altmiller Cave, Colosso, Hammet's Rescue, The Suhalla Desert, The Suhalla Gate, At the Base of Venus Lighthouse and lastly Lalivero. I especially remember Colosso and Lunpa Fortress when I first wrote their chapters for the German walkthrough. They were my nightmare, I tell ye. I thoroughly enjoyed writing them, but they just took so freaking long... At least I now had a sort of blueprint for screenshots and what to write there, so it wasn't that bad this time. Anyway, until the next time... When there'll be Crossbone Isle included in the update. Urgh.

Happy Easter!

12. 4. 2009 (11:06 a.m.), Veritate

News title says it. But the actual reason for this news entry is... well, new chapters in the walkthrough for Golden Sun! They are The Mercury Lighthouse, Kolima shining anew, The Fuchin Temple, Through the Mogall Forest, Xian and Surroundings, Altin, the Miners' Village, Within the Mines, The Lama Temple, The Lamakan Desert, In Kalay at last and Djinn and more. So may this be your present for Easter! My current pace is about one chapter a day, I sure could do better but certainly worse, too. After all it's not really that an exciting work. All the "in the next" and "go to" and "return to" and "Isaac got... new shoes..." can really bust your last remaining nerves. But it's okay, I'm doing this for you, my friends. ;-) I'm looking forward to the day everything's finished here just so I can finally sit back, be lazy and leave it all be, but until that happens... stay tuned!

Hearken, a surprise for ye

25. 3. 2009 (3:01 p.m.), Veritate

So here it finally is, my web site, revised and now in English! Please excuse the fact it's not completely finished yet. Fortunately though it's mostly just some screenshots that still need to be replaced, plus the walkthroughs are still unfinished since they (not very surprisingly) take up the most time... But what does that matter! Have fun exploring the site in English, and I promise you to continue to work hard and to always inform you when there's something new for you to see! ;-P
